2010 Annual Action Plan draft available
Public Hearing to be held January 28, 2010 

 

The State of South Carolina has prepared its 2010 Annual Action Plan as part of the State Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development. The 2010 Action Plan must be submitted to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by February 15, 2010. An Action Plan is submitted annually to meet HUD’s statutory requirements for South Carolina to receive funding allocations from four HUD programs: 1) Community Development Block Grant Program administered by the SC Department of Commerce, Grants Administration; 2) HOME Investment Partnerships administered by the SC State Housing Finance and Development Authority; 3) Emergency Shelter Grants administered by the Governor’s Office, Office of Economic Opportunity; and 4) Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS administered by the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control, STD/HIV Division.
