Housing Assistance for Flood Victims announced November 17, 2016

The South Carolina Disaster Recovery Office is introducing the October 2015 Storm Recovery Program intended to repair or reconstruct Single-Family Housing and Single-Family Rental units affected by the October 5, 2015 flood and rain event that still have unserved damage.

Survivors of the October 2015 flooding can find a mobile center by calling the office at 1-844-330-1199 or visiting its website at

This new program is specifically designed to assist the extremely low, very low and low income South Carolinianís who require assistance in the repair, replacement, or reconstruction of their homes damaged by the October 2015 Storm.
The program expects to serve approximately 1500 low income homeowners with the priority of assistance focused on the extremely low income, elderly, disabled, and families with children 5 years old or younger in the household.
